Mint: These have hardly been used and didn't sit very long before being recovered. Logos and pen marks may be present
Near Mint: These are like new but maybe they have a few blemishes or minor discoloration. Logos and pen marks may be present.
Good: These are really playable golf balls but have some scuffs, possible major discoloration, logos and pens marks. These golf balls work and shouldnt affect gameplay, but just may not be pretty.
Every golf ball is soaked for a period of time in a top secret mixture to get off dirt and other debris. Then, each ball goes into a soapy wash. This gets our golf balls very clean. Sometimes you get a stubborn ball, so any ball that doesn't pass our clean standards are put back into the soak!
We keep things very simple when it comes to our quality grading. We have four grades starting from best to worst:
Mint, Near Mint, Good, & Shag.
We start by getting all our balls retrieved from golf courses all across the United States. We retrieve balls from every part of a golf course. We then wash each ball and sort by model and grade. After washing and sorting each ball is counted, packaged and shipped directly to you.

Bought 36 mint pro V1’s and some Callaway’s. Arrived relatively quickly and the balls are great! The balls really are like mint, no scuffs on them at all. Some have sharpie markings but no big deal. Very happy with my purchase.
I have always liked to use the pro V one but for 20 years or so I just couldn’t find my way past the cost and so I played any ball I found and eventually tried the Kirkland ball but couldn’t stick with it. Both of the pro V’s that I found had been out for a while and very early that I get a nice one so when I had the chance to buy some from clean Green, I thought I would give it a chance. It was a great decision and now I am playing the pro V one for the last four months and if any of them get scuffed up or such, I use them as my practice for chipping and putting so I’m using the same golf ball for everything. The golf ball showed up on time and in wonderful condition. I emailed Clay Green to tell them I was happy and how did they test their golf balls to get the mint condition label. They replied very honestly that they do it by look and how often they get them from a certain place, etc., but had no real way of testing compression or such. So I said, I will do it myself by playing some of the older Pro Vs that I had against the ones I just bought from them and the difference is quite noticeable. Very happy with the product and happy with how they look. And the cost is exceptional compared to New or even slightly used. I will be ordering more as you will hear me say that in my video.
